Loving Shepherd Early Learning Center

Operated by Golden Valley Lutheran Church, Loving Shepherd Early Learning Center (LSELC) is a non-profit program that exists to provide Christian nurture, support, and education to children and parents – so that they may know Jesus and touch the lives of others with His love.

Enrollment at LSELC is open to all members of the community.

Infant, Toddler, and Pre-School Care
Care for children ages six weeks through five years old is offered full- or part-time and year-round Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Before- & After-School Care
LSELC began offering before- and after-school care to elementary kids in the Fall of 2017 to great success. The kids join us in the mornings and afternoons during the school year and for extended hours during the summer. And, in coordination with the Hopkins School District, bus transportation is provided to our neighbor, Meadowbrook Elementary, from September through June.

GVLC Connection
Children, parents, and staff of LSELC are part of the GVLC faith family. If there is any way the church can be of service to you, please do not hesitate to ask. Our Senior Pastor, Kurt Weber, and Director of Family Ministries, Jennifer Hall, are available to help and can be reached at the church office 763.544-2810.
